Revere Police Headquarters and East Fire Station

Beals + Thomas provided site design, civil engineering, permitting,
and land-surveying services for the construction of a new Public Safety Complex on Revere Beach Parkway in Revere. The site consists of approximately 1.8 acres that abuts the Sales Creek Area of Critical Environmental Concern and was previously owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. However, the City of Revere successfully pursued legislation to purchase a portion of this
parcel of public open space land, which was subject to
protection under Article 97.

  

The proposed site development included the construction of new Police and Fire Stations. Beals + Thomas assisted the City with the acquisition of environmental approvals for the project including local Conservation Commission approval, a MEPA Notice of Project Change, Article 97 legislation and CZM review.
